The drought is over. Finally an update. How fitting to return with the beautiful Dunn's River Falls, located in the town of Ocho Rios on the country's north coast. On the day these were taken, a major Cruise line had docked in the town. I arrived at the Falls at the same moment that the tour buses rolled in, packed with visitors eager to experience what they had heard about this scenic spot.

I have a sad case of 'Painter's envy'. I don't know what else to call it, I'm just so envious of persons who draw and paint really well. For as long as I can remember, I have had a desire to be a great painter (canvas, not home exteriors - not that anything's wrong with that!).
Now, I come from an artistic family - my sister is naturally gifted at drawing realistic looking images. My mom, a college art lecturer, paints well. My aunt was also a trained art teacher and my dad, um...well he can paint a pretty picture reminiscing about West Indies cricket dominance in the 80's.
